Like most other non-profit independent schools, CNS depends on donations to provide a significant share of our operating budget.

In addition to fundraising events like our Annual Auction, our Annual Fund plays a critical role in helping CNS raise the income it needs to operate and to continue its leadership in early education.
We're fortunate that an overwhelming majority of CNS families choose to participate in the Annual Fund, but we also depend on donations from others who recognize the value we bring to the community.

CHARLESTOWN NURSERY ANNUAL FUND
The Charlestown Nursery Annual Fund is the school’s annual fundraising effort and represents the most important way for parents, alumni, parents of alumni, grandparents, and friends to support the school.

RESEARCH
The CNS Annual Fund allows us to remain a leader in research and development for our students and early childhood, well beyond our walls. Our professional development and the professional development that we share improve 0-5 education for all children.
FACULTY
The CNS Annual Fund allows the school to attract and retain the most expert teachers through professional development, education, and on-going support.
ENDOWMENT
The CNS Annual Fund enables us to build an endowment and invest. Our goal of reaching $1M for our 20th anniversary as of June 30, 2028, is to grow this stable source of funding so that it can better support our financial sustainability.
